Creatives

Art binds humans. It transcends differences, creating dialogue and enriching perspectives — connecting us to a world where innate curiosity and the brain's neuroplasticity are engaged.

Celebrating and recognising the importance of a thriving creative industry is at the heart of who we are. The flock of individuals we work with are beyond talented — Malcolm Gladwell once stated that the magical number for expertise is at least 10,000 hours of practice!

  • Josh Crowther

The face behind Laughing Hyena Produce, Josh is one of the cheekier members of the flock.

Originating from Brisbane- Australia, Josh can be found competing in the martial
arts world, playing the sax, renovating or just enjoying life with his family.

Josh follows the Dao and —, he's shouting something out-

"Please don't write about me anymore..!"

  • The Ugly Ducklings

The Ugly Ducklings are an adventurous creative team presently based out of Australia.

History seems to place them back to at least the nineteenth century, where the tale of one duckling remains in circulation, but no one knows for sure.

Perhaps due to historic events, the ducklings shape everything they do around their own core values. They believe that life is simply about choices, placing great importance on the impact a decision will have in supporting who they are, and who they wish to be on this little globe.

Discovered in a private library in early 2015, they are raw, cheeky, and authentic souls who love nothing more than to make others smile.

With new encounters in a fast-paced world, the ducklings experience some hiccups in life, bringing fresh stories and laughs to our social time in that glorious sunlit library!

  • Darren Pryce

Darren cut his creative teeth at two of the world’s best design studios: Cato Purnell & Partners and David Lancashire Design— both inductees to the Alliance Graphique Internationale.

By 24, he was the most awarded illustrator in Australia with 'Lürzer's Archive Worldwide'
acknowledging him as the planet’s most versatile.

He’s worked for the biggest and best internationally as an art director, designer, illustrator and artist, his work featuring in Rolling Stone and on the cover of Time magazine.

Darren is also co-founder of popular children's publisher, Wise As Stories.

  • Wolfgang Schulze

Born in Leipzig, Germany in 1940, Wolfgang Schulze escaped East Germany in 1958.

Trained by a master craftsman in Germany, Wolfgang continues the ancient tradition of carving each of his original pewter designs by hand, with one piece requiring up to fifty life-hours!

Wolfgang's limited edition designs are cast with non-toxic, Australian mined, lead-free silver pewter.

Influences in Wolfgang's early works were mainly a celebration of his freedom. The Age have reported his works as "innovative" and the ABC taken aback by his skill and dedication.

Galleries across Australia have exhibited Wolfgang's works, including Melbourne's Argus Gallery, the Carlton Gallery, and a picturesque Coffs Harbour bush gallery which he and wife Janette opened to the public (for over thirty years!), while raising their family.

Wolfgang's unique works can be found in homes worldwide, and as Australia's only genuine pewtersmith, we are so privileged to stock them.
