Refund policy

Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right;

Conditions for Return

- the item/s must be returned within 30 days of purchase, 

- items must be returned in original condition, unused, unaltered, unwashed and with their tags attached,

- if you have received a gift with purchase during a promotion, the gift must also be returned otherwise the value of the gift will be deducted from your refund.

Faulty or Incorrect Items

We're very sorry if an item you received is not in perfect condition, or is one that you didn't order! Please email us within 30 days of purchase and we can resolve this for you as soon as possible. Remember to send photo/s and detail the issue so that we can assist you promptly. 

We will meet our obligations under the Australian Consumer Law or similar legislation which may include replacing the item if the stock is available or providing a refund upon receipt of the item back at Pee Dee Cottage. 

If you paid with a gift card, you will be refunded to that same gift card and will be able to re-use the original unique code towards your next purchase.


Change-of-Mind Returns or Exchanges

In an eggshell, we do not offer returns or exchanges for change of mind — this is because an important piece of our ethos is to minimise our carbon footprint — offering change-of-mind returns would mean one order is being shipped multiple times by road or air.

We make every effort to provide thorough information about our products via the images and description. If you have any questions prior to purchasing, we are very happy to assist.


Gift Wrapping

Gift Wrapping is non-refundable.


Missing Order

If your order has not been delivered, is missing or the tracking details have not updated please email us so we can assist you with this. Australia Post have their own investigation process and we work closely with them to locate, replace or refund your order. 

Refunds

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return, please contact us at hello@3uglyducklings.com.

Processing Time

We endeavour to process refunds as soon as they are received but please allow up to five (5) business days for returns to be processed and remember that Pee Dee Cottage is a rural destination. You will receive an email notification of the status of your refund once finalised. 


European Union 14 day cooling off period

Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. Please note that the cost to return an order (along with the original shipping cost) is the responsibility of the customer. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused or unworn, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
