Pee Dee Cottage, Australia

Hidden down an unassuming dirt road, and nestled within the spectacular hinterland of the Macleay Valley, rests Pee Dee Cottage; an idyllic patch of acreage which is home to an old farm shack and a creative space studio.

Built in the 1950's with local hand-sawn timber (a time period perhaps prophetically considered the 'ugly duckling' of Australian architecture) — the acreage was once part of Pee Dee Station — a nineteenth century cattle farm which remains in operation to this day.

Pee Dee Cottage is a source of inspiration and wonder for our family. Backed by the untouched Pee Dee Reserve, the property enjoys an abundance of beautiful Australian flora and fauna. A magical space to stargaze, the vast darkness is filled with the musical sounds of a gushing Macleay River and evening wildlife. Daylight hours are enjoyed in the company of friendly resident wallabies and chattering birds, while the chillier months are cosy and warm indoors with a crackling fire and hot cacao in hand.

Your unique purchases are packed at Pee Dee Cottage with gratitude and positive vibrations. We hope you enjoy your pieces as much we loved creating them.
